COPA Coca-Cola® South Africa is a football tournament exclusively for U-15 teams with a mission to find raw talent, promote physical activity as part of an active, healthy lifestyle and help young players realise their dreams.

Secondary schools first compete at district level. Winners then play for their region before going to provincial finals on 27 July 2013.

The national finals will take place from 10 to 13 October in Cape Town, and it's there where a nation will discover tomorrow's football heroes.

Last year, Johannesburg Secondary School (JSS) won COPA Coca-Cola®, and we're all excited to see who claims this year's title.

A team of scouts will select the best players through the provincial and national finals phases, and these players will form the COPA Coca-Cola® Heroes team which will represent South Africa at the COPA Coca-Cola® International Camp in Brazil during the 2014 FIFA World Cup™!

Professional soccer player Happy Jele was born on 1 January 1987 in Middelburg, Mpumalanga. Like most young boys, he used to enjoy kicking a plastic ball on the dusty streets after school with his friends, but there was something special about him.

He started making waves at the tender age of 10 by playing for amateur teams such as Columbus FC, Inter Milan and Thushanag Swallows before joining Walter Stars in the SAFA Promotional League in 2001.

As a youngster, he was very influential in helping the team win promotion to the Castle League and later to the Vodacom League. It was through hard work, dedication and leading a healthy and active lifestyle that led him and his team to victory in the COPA tournament, which later opened doors for him to become the Premier Soccer League superstar he is today.
