Ingredients:

 

  • Mint (A must have in a mojito. Substitute for basil, but it will not be
    traditional).
  • Lime (Another must in a mojito. Substitute for orange or grapefruit,
    but it will not be traditional).
  • Sugar (Granulated sugar is best to get a delicious crunch and pop of
    flavor in the drink. Substitute for simple syrup, honey or agave).
  • Topo Chico Sparkling Mineral Water.

Instructions:

 

  • Muddle half of the lime in your glass.
  • Add the sugar, remaining lime and mint leaves. Muddle
    to release lime juice and essential oils of the mint.
  • Add ice cubes, top with Topo Chico Sparkling Mineral
    Water
    and stir
  • Garnish with fresh mint sprig or lime wedge.

Variations:

 

  • Want to mix it up? Try adding the following:
  • Fresh or frozen berries: strawberry or blackberry are tow good
    choices.
  • Other citrus like grapefruits or oranges.
  • Add jalapeños to make it a little spicy.
  • Swap out the mint for another herb like basil!
  • Add a few chunks of cucumber!
  • Used crushed ice cubes to make this mocktail recipe even more fun!
