Entrants and Exclusions

This Promotion is open to New Zealand residents aged 16 years or older (Eligible Entrant).

Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and their employees, and agencies and representatives associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter. For the purposes of these Terms immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step- parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
 

Promotion Period

The Promotion begins at 12.00am NZST on 4 September 2025 and ends at 11.59pm NZDT on 1 November 2025.

Please Note: As the final day of the Promotion (1 November 2025) falls on a Saturday, entries received on this day will be drawn on Monday, 3 November 2025. Prize notifications for these final entries will commence on the next day, Tuesday, 4 November 2025.

Entry

Game Rules & Point System / Game Mechanics

The game consists of 5 main levels and 1 bonus level. Your goal is to collect "cans" within each level to earn points

  • Game Structure: 5 main levels + 1 bonus level
  • Main Levels Point Structure:

Please Note: Bonus Level does not offer any additional bonus points for collecting all visible cans; the total points for completing the Bonus Level is 50. (Maximum 50 points).

  • Daily Point Cap: The maximum points earnable per user per day is capped at 800 points i.e. 400 points collected on successfully completing all game levels in one attempt.
  • Prize Draw Entry: Every 100 points earned grants you one (1) entry into the prize draw.
  • Daily Play Limit: Users are permitted a maximum of two (2) game attempts per day.
  • Draw Entry & Point Deduction: Upon entry into the draw, the requisite points will be deducted from the user's account. Any remaining points beyond the deduction will be retained and saved in the user's account balance.
  • Game Lives per attempt: During each game attempt, players will have three (3) lives.
     

Limit

Multiple entries are permitted, subject to the following:

1. limit of three (3) entries permitted per person per day;
2. limit of ten (10) prizes permitted throughout the promotion period per person; and
3. each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with the entry instructions above and each entry meets these Terms and Conditions. 
 

Prizes

The total prize pool value for this Promotion is NZD$29,410. Prizes consist of Burger King promo codes, redeemable for either "Value Meal" or "Frozen Cup" at participating Burger King locations in New Zealand.

This Promotion is a daily draw win. All eligible entries received for a given day will be entered into the draw for that day.

Each winner selected from the accumulated prize draw entries for that day will receive one (1) unique promo code (promo code). This unique promo code will be for either a Whopper Regular Value Meal or a Large Frozen Cup, as determined by the daily draw results.

Prize splits and amounts are as per the below:

  • General Prize Distribution: The daily allocation of prizes (Whopper Regular Value Meal promo codes and Large Frozen Cup promo codes) may vary. The Promoter reserves the sole right and discretion to determine the exact number of prizes drawn on any given day to ensure the fair and complete distribution of all allocated prizes across the entire Promotion Period.
  • Value Meal Promo Code: A total of 300 Whopper Regular Value Meal promo codes will be awarded throughout the Promotion Period. Each Value Meal promo code is redeemable for one (1) Burger King Whopper Regular Value Meal, with an approximate retail value of NZD$14.70. The number of Whopper Regular Value Meal promo codes drawn daily from the accumulated prize draw entries for that day will typically be either five (5) or six (6).
  • Frozen Cup Promo Code: A total of 10,000 Large Frozen Cup unique promo codes will be awarded throughout the entire Promotion Period. Each Frozen Cup promo code is redeemable for one (1) Burger King Large Frozen Cup, with an approximate retail value of NZD$2.50. The number of Large Frozen Cup promo codes drawn daily from the accumulated prize draw entries for that day will typically be either one hundred and sixty-nine (169) or one hundred and seventy (170). The specific type of Large Frozen Cup may be determined by Burger King at its sole discretion and is subject to availability.

The Promo Code is applicable only to online and in-store orders placed exclusively through the Burger King NZ App. It cannot be redeemed directly at the counter without using the app.

Each Promo Code expires at 11:59 PM NZDT on 30 November 2025. It is the sole responsibility of the winner to redeem the Promo Code prior to this date and time. No extensions will be granted.

Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or negotiable and are not redeemable for cash.

The Promo Code cannot be combined with any other offers, discounts, coupons, or promotions.

Each Promo Code is valid for a single use only.

Standard Burger King terms and conditions apply to the use of the Promo Code and must be complied with by the winners. These terms may include, but are not limited to, product availability, store operating hours, and redemption policies. 
 

Prize Winner Selection, Notification and Prize claim

Prize Winner Selection:

This Promotion is a daily draw win. All eligible entries submitted on a specific day will be entered into the draw for that same day.

Draw Schedule:
Draws for entries received from Monday through Friday will occur on the following calendar day (e.g., Entries received on Monday will be drawn on Tuesday).

Entries received on a Saturday or Sunday will be collected and held. The draws for these weekend entries will be conducted on the next official business day following the weekend (typically Monday, unless Monday is a public holiday, in which case the draw will occur on the next business day).

Winner Notification:

  • Winners will be notified of their win via the email address provided during game login.
  • This notification, including confirmation of the win and the unique Burger King Promo Code, will be sent by the end of the next business day following the respective draw.


Prize Claim & Redemption Process:

To claim and redeem their prize, winners must adhere to the following mandatory steps:

  • Winners must download the official Burger King NZ App from their device's respective app store (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store), if not already installed.
  • Winners are required to sign up for a Burger King Royal Perks account within the App, or log in if they are an existing member. Membership in the Royal Perks program is mandatory for Promo Code redemption.
  • Navigate to the designated 'Offers' or 'Promotions' section within the Burger King NZ App and accurately enter the unique Promo Code received in their Fanta game win notification email.
  • Upon successful entry of the Promo Code, the specified prize (e.g., free Value Meal or Frozen Cup offer) will become visible in the winner's 'Offers' screen within the App. 


Prize Redemption Terms & Conditions:

  • Offers can be redeemed via the Burger King NZ App, burgerking.co.nz, or in-store (by presenting the 6-digit code generated from your App).
  • Offers are not available for delivery orders or via in-store kiosks.
  • Offers cannot be combined with any other promotions, discounts, or coupons, including Kings Coupons.
  • Offers are available for a limited time at participating Burger King NZ restaurants only, while stocks last.
  • Offer is not available at Christchurch Airport Burger King location.

The Sponsor bears no responsibility for any technical issues, errors, or delays that may occur during the download, sign-up, login, or redemption process within the Burger King NZ App, provided such issues are not directly attributable to the Sponsor.
 

Unclaimed Prizes

Any prizes not claimed by the winner (e.g., by failing to respond to notification or complete required app registration within a reasonable timeframe as determined by the Promoter) or not redeemed within the Burger King NZ App by the stated expiry date will be forfeited. 
 

Standard Conditions of Entry

  1. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant or winner, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant or winner.
  2. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to validate and check the authenticity of entries and entrant's details (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence). In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof as required by the Promoter to validate their entry, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. Incomplete, indecipherable, inaudible, incorrect and illegible entries, as applicable, will at the Promoter's discretion be deemed invalid and not eligible to win.
  3. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries.
  4. Entrants must comply with all requirements of the Promoter including requirements specified in the Terms and Conditions. If an entrant enters or attempts to enter the Promotion in a manner, which in the Promoter’s opinion, is contrary to these Terms and Conditions or is fraudulent or unjust to other entrants (such as hacking, cheating, deception, or any other unfair playing practices), the entry may be rejected at the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion. The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, declare any or all entries made by an entrant invalid if the entrant: 
    a. fails to establish their entitlement to enter the Promotion to the Promoter's satisfaction;
    b. tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion;
    c. submits an entry which in the Promoter's opinion is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions;
    d. acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person;
    e. in the opinion of Promoter, engages in conduct in entering the Promotion, which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter;
    f. breaches any law; or
    g. behaves in a way that is otherwise inappropriate.
  5. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the Promotion. Entry is conditional on providing this information. By entering this Promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant agrees that the Promoter may use the entrant’s personal information to conduct the Promotion in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (including to send electronic messages or telephone the entrant in relation to the Promotion).
  6. The Promoter may, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and other suppliers for the purposes of this promotion. For the purpose of prize fulfilment, the Promoter may share necessary personal information (such as email address, phone number) with Burger King. The details of winners will be held in accordance with the Coca‑Cola Oceania Limited Privacy Policy that can be accessed by visiting www.coke.co.nz/mycoke/privacy-policy . The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their personal information, how entrants may complain about a breach of the New Zealand Information Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. Winners should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter at the postal address provided above.
  7. Nothing in these Conditions of Entry restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and/or Fair-Trading Act 1986.
  8. If, for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, any aspect of the Promotion is not capable or running as planned, or the conduct or operation of the Promotion is interfered with or disrupted in any way (including by vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, acts of Government, civil unrest, strikes, tampering, computer bugs or viruses or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the right to, in its sole discretion, cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or recommence the Promotion, or invalidate any affected entries, at any time without prior notice, subject to any applicable law.
  9. The Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for claims, losses (including loss of opportunity), damages, injuries, costs and/or expenses, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, suffered, sustained or incurred as a result of, or arising in any way out of, or in any way connected with, the Promotion or any Prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law)
  10. The Promoter is not responsible for any tax implications arising from the winner winning the Prize. Winners should seek independent financial advice.
