Get ready for the electrifying return of Royal Hataw? Ito Ang Gusto Ko!, back for its second season – bigger and bolder than ever! After its explosive debut in 2024, this dynamic dance competition is once again igniting the stage to celebrate the incredible talent, boundless creativity, and fiery passion of Filipino dancers. More than just a contest, Royal Hataw? Ito Ang Gusto Ko! is a grand showcase, providing a powerful platform for dancers to truly shine.
In its inaugural search for the top dance crew, Royal Hataw? Ito Ang Gusto Ko! held exhilarating regional legs across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The top crews from each region proudly represented their banners in a spectacular grand finals, where the following winning dance crews emerged:
🏆 Grand Champion: Folk Jumpers from Bulacan
🥈 1st Runner-Up: The Crew from Quezon City
🥉 2nd Runner-Up: Astrophile from Ormoc City

Frequently Asked Questions
There will be 2 categories for Season 2 namely:
* High School Division (with School Endorsement)
* Open + College Division
High School Division (with School Endorsement):
- Age Requirement: Open to all Filipino high school students aged 13 years and above.
- Crew Size: Must consist of 12 to 16 members.
- School Affiliation: All members must be currently enrolled in the same school.
- Requirements: Participants must present a valid school ID for the school year 2025 - 2026 with signed Parental/Guardian consent to participate along with a valid proof of identification..(Signature section will be included in the form)
For Open + College Division:
- Age Requirement: Participants must be 16 years old and above.
- Crew Size: Must consist of 16 to 20 members.
- Eligibility: Open to all college dance groups, local dance crews, non-school-based teams, and mixed-aged Filipino dance groups.
- Requirements: Participants below 18 years old must provide a signed Parental/Guardian consent to participate.
High School Division (with School Endorsement):
To successfully register, High School Division teams must submit the following via the Google Form:
- A completely filled-up registration form.
- A 2-minute uninterrupted, unedited static dance entry video recorded within the last six (6) months.
- For participants below 18 years old, a signed Parental/Guardian Consent and Waiver Form (this single form serves both purposes), along with a clear copy of the Parent/Guardian’s Government-Issued ID.
- A School Endorsement Letter, signed by the school principal or an authorized representative.
- A clear copy of each member’s valid School ID for the School Year 2025 - 2026.
- Team Name, Crew Leader, and Division must be indicated during the registration process.
Open + College Division:
To successfully register, Open + College Division teams must submit the following via the Google Form:
- A completely filled-up registration form.
- A 2-minute uninterrupted, unedited static dance entry video recorded within the last six (6) months.
- For participants below 18 years old, a signed Parental/Guardian Consent and Waiver Form (this single form serves both purposes), along with a clear copy of the Parent/Guardian’s Government-Issued ID.
- For participants 18 years old and above, a signed Liability Waiver Form.
- A clear copy of a valid proof of identification for each member (e.g., Driver’s License, School ID, Government-Issued ID).
- Team Name, Crew Leader, and Division must be indicated during the registration process.
Important Note: All required documents must be uploaded through the Google Form, accessible via the site or by emailing royal.itoanggustoko@activasia.com.
Royal HATAW? ITO ANG GUSTO KO! Season 2 will follow a multi-stage competition format:
- Pre-Selection Screening: All registered dance crews who have submitted complete documentation will undergo a pre-selection screening.
- Regional Rounds: The top 15 crews in each division, determined from the pre-selection, will advance to the regional rounds.
- Regional Finals: Within each region, the top 5 crews per division will compete for the opportunity to advance to the National Competition and the title of Royal HATAW? ITO ANG GUSTO KO! Dance Battle Champion.
- National Competition Confirmation: The top 5 crews from each regional final must confirm their participation in the National Competition within 72 hours following the conclusion of their respective regional event.
- Wildcard Entries: Teams ranked 6th and 7th in each regional final will serve as wildcard entries. Should any of the top 5 teams be unable to participate in the National Competition, the next highest-ranked team will be invited to take their place.
While we are incredibly excited to welcome talented dance crews from all over the Philippines, the costs for airfare, accommodation, and transportation are the responsibility of each participating team. We encourage teams to start planning their travel and lodging arrangements early, considering the distances involved.
