TERMS & CONDITIONS

IMPORTANT: Please read these terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") before entering this contest ("Contest") provided by Coca‑Cola Far East Ltd through its third-party agency, ActivAsia, Inc, whether directly or through the appropriate agents (together referred as the "Promoter"). By entering this Contest, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

A. ELIGIBILITY and POLICIES

This Contest is valid within the Philippines only and open to everyone who meets the following requirements (“Participant”):

HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION

1. Open to all Filipino citizens who are High School students aged 13 years old and up.

2. All minors must submit a signed Parental/Guardian Consent with proof of identification of Parents/Guardian and Waiver Form (signature section will be included in the waiver).

3. All members must be from and currently enrolled in the same school.

4. Teams must also submit their school IDs and a School Endorsement Letter signed by the school principal or authorized representative.

5. Teams must pre-register with their Team Name, Crew Leader, and Division.

6. Each team must provide a copy of your team’s liability waiver.

7. All participants must sign a waiver form upon registration.


OPEN + COLLEGE DIVISION

1. Open to all college groups, local dance crews, non-school-based teams, and mixed-age Filipino dance groups.

2. Participants must be Filipino citizens, 16 years old and above.

3. School ID is not required. Instead, teams must submit any valid proof of identification (e.g. driver’s license, school ID, government-issued ID, etc.)

4. Participants who are below 18 must submit a signed waiver from a parent or guardian with proof of identification of parents/guardian.

5. Teams must pre-register with their Team Name, Crew Leader, and Division.

6. All participants must sign a waiver form upon registration.

• Agrees to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy that apply to this Contest. Participants who are under 18 years old without a signed waiver and consent will not be eligible to participate in the competition.

• Has a valid official identity card (such as passport, government issued ID, school ID, etc.); and

• Not a employees and immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings, children and each of their spouses, relatives of until 1st degree) of the Promoter, partners, distributors, agencies, companies or participating businesses associated with this Contest and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and related companies (collectively, “Affiliates”); (b) prohibited under the laws of your country of citizenship, residency or domicile to participate in any games of chance and/or skill, or this Contest.


B. CONTEST PERIOD

1. This Contest starts from our Regional Leg on September 6, 2025 and ends on our National Competition on October 25, 2025 (“Contest Period”). 

2. Any entry not received during the Contest Period shall be automatically disqualified from participation.  The Promoter is not liable for any lost, delayed or misdirected entry.


C. COMPETITION FORMAT

1. QUALIFIERS (ONLINE SCREENING)

• Teams must register via the official Hataw? Ito Ang Gusto Ko! website and upload a 2-minute uninterrupted, unedited static dance video.

• Any recorded video not 6 months older may be submitted as an entry.

• All entries will be pre-screened and judged by a selected panel of judges.

• A total of 90 crews (15 per division, 30 per region) will be selected to qualify and advance to the Regional Showdown.

• Qualified teams will be announced online.

2. REGIONAL SHOWDOWNS

• Teams from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will battle it out live, with each team performing a 2:30–3 minute routine per division.

• Only the Top 5 crews per division in each region will advance to the Nationals.

• Teams ranked 6th and 7th will serve as wildcard entry should any of the Top 5 teams be unable to participate.

3. NATIONAL

• The Top 5 crews per division from each region will go head-to-head for the ultimate Royal Hataw? Ito Ang Gusto Ko! Dance Battle Champion title!

• Teams from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will battle it out live, with each team performing a 3:30–4 minute routine per division.

• The grand finals will be held in Metro Manila.

• The Top 5 crews per division from each region must submit their final confirmation to participate in the National Competition within 72 hours after the Regional event.

• All transportation and logistics expenses must be shouldered by the participating teams.


D. REGISTRATION PROCESS for ALL DIVISION

1. To participate in the Contest:  

Participants must register through the official Hataw? Ito Ang Gusto Ko website and upload a 2 minute uninterrupted, unedited static dance video of either the past performance or current video uploaded in social media platforms such as facebook and youtube or through google drive not later than 6 months. Participants must submit the necessary requirements before they can move to the next phase which is the pre-screening. The following documents are:

• Accomplished registration form

• Proof of identification of all the crew members

• Signed waiver with Parental/guardian consent for underage participants

• Endorsement Letter from School/University for the High School Division

2. Participants can only win a maximum of two (2) prizes per round:

  • Regionals – Three Winners to win Cash Prize. All participating crews are qualified to win the People’s Choice Award, but only 1 crew will be selected through the Bottle Cap Voting.
  • Nationals – Three Winners to win Cash Prize. All participating crews are qualified to win the People’s Choice Award, but only 1 crew will be selected through the Bottle Cap Voting.

3. Each group/participants can only submit one (1) entry and one (1) video. Dance video must be within two minutes (2:00) minutes uninterrupted, unedited static dance video not more than 6 months old.

4. Dance videos must not have any lewd gestures or dance movements that suggest sexual activity or profanity.

5. Promoter is not liable for any lost, delayed or misdirected entries.

6. Valid Entries must contain details stated on point C1 and must not contain references directly or indirectly to any intellectual property rights of any third party without consent. By participating in the Contest and submitting the entry, you are deemed to have represented and certified that nothing in the entry shall infringe any copyright or trademarks or violate any person’s rights of privacy or confidentiality and shall be fully liable and responsible for any third-party infringement or violation.  Entries will be disqualified if they (a) infringe any intellectual property rights of any third party; and/or (b) contain any indecent, immoral, offensive, defamatory, racial, religious, political contents, or contents or acts which the Promoter, at its discretion, considers inappropriate in nature.


E. SELECTION PROCESS for QUALIFIED CREWS IN ALL DIVISION

1. Participants who completed the registration form and have submitted the complete requirements will receive a confirmation email from the Promoter if they qualify. This email will include FAQs and information about the confirmation and notification of their entry.

2. An initial screening will be conducted 2 days after the closing date of registration.
There will be 3 judges evaluating the dance performances during the competition. They are: (2) Dance Choreographer, and (1) Royal True Orange Representatives.

3. The Top 6 per division from each region (Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao) will be contacted via email or phone as part of the Regional Competition. An announcement will be posted through the brand’s Social Media Accounts as well.

4. Qualified teams should submit their final confirmation to participate in the Regional Competition within 72 hours after the announcement in social media.  This confirmation should be communicated to the Promoter through email and text message. 

5. All Dance Crews should attend the briefing as scheduled by the Promoter prior to the competition.


F. SELECTION PROCESS for NATIONALS 

1. The Top 5 per division and per region (Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao) competes in a dance battle on the following schedule:

2. 30 dance crews - Top 5 crews per division from each region will advance to the Nationals to compete for the title of Hataw? Ito Ang Gusto ko Dance Battle Champion.  

3. The Top 5 crews per division from each region must submit their final confirmation to participate in the National Competition within 72 hours after the announcement during the Regional event.  This confirmation should be communicated to the Promoter through email and text message.  

4. There will be five judges evaluating the dance performances during the competition. They are: (2) Celebrity Dance Influencer and (3) Dance Choreographer.

5. All Dance Crews should attend the briefing as scheduled by the Promoter prior to the competition.  

6. There will be 3 winners per division in the National level.


G. CRITERIA FOR REGIONALS AND NATIONALS

The following will be the criteria for the regionals and nationals:
 

1. 30% Moves na Gusto Ko! 

How well-executed, clear, and precise the movements are from beginning until end. Levels, texture, range, flow, and bounce are bodied and very well-pocketed within boundaries of musicality and rhythm. 


2. 20% Energy na Gusto Ko! 

Concept or routine is well-established from opening, during, and end of the required length of piece.


3. 20% Vibe na Gusto Ko!

Details, patterns, emotions, pathways of movements are linked excellently to the overall

concept or idea of the routine.


4. 20% Pa-Ander na Gusto Ko!

Use of dance movements, music, costumes, props, shapes, etc. in a new way.Use of dance

movements, music, costumes, props, shapes, etc. in a new way.


5. 10% Crew na Gusto Ko! 

Audience impact and overall performance impression.


H. REGIONAL DANCE COMPETITION MECHANICS AND PRIZES

1. Participants need to dance the routine according to their preference

2. The routine must be a total of two minutes and thirty secondations (2:30 mins) to a maximum of three minutes (3:00 mins)

3. Pre-performance display is permissible up to 20 seconds, allowing the teams to acknowledge the audience and assume their opening pose

4. Music and mix must be submitted digitally to the event’s technical director at least 1 week  before the regional event 

5. Stunt restriction: Any move that poses a risk of serious injury when improperly executed—such as (but not limited to) double back tuck passes, pitched double back tucks, and three-level set-ups—is not allowed

6. No props, LED effects, or lewd/nude elements will be permitted

7. Top 5 crews per division from each region will be announced during the competition day.

8. Top 5 crews per division from each region should submit their final confirmation to participate in the National Competition within 72 hours after the announcement during the Regional event.  This confirmation should be communicated to the Promoter through email and text message. Failure to do so will forfeit their slot, which will then be offered to the next crew in the rankings. 

9. The Top 5 crews per division will be given their P50,000 regional cash prize upon confirmation of their participation in the Nationals leg of the competition.

10. Unless expressly stated, Prizes are awarded on an ‘as-is’ basis and are not transferable, negotiable, refundable or exchangeable. Non-cash Prizes cannot be taken in cash. The Promoter reserves the right not to award a Prize or part thereof to any person who, for any reason whatsoever, fails to meet any stipulated requirement in order to claim a Prize.

11. The Promoter is not obliged to award the Prize in the event that there are no Valid Entries received during the Contest Period.  In such an event, the Prize opportunity shall be withdrawn.
The Promoter, its affiliates, subsidiaries and related companies shall not be liable for warranties, maintenance, taxes or any additional costs of the Prize.  

12. In the event that one of the Top 6 Regional winners will opt not to participate in the Nationals, the next highest scoring team will be invited to participate. Thus, the cash prize will be transferred to the team that will participate in the Nationals.

 

I. NATIONAL DANCE COMPETITION MECHANICS 

1. The Top 5 Regionals’ finalists per division must be present at the Nationals location in Metro Manila - transport and logistics expenses to be shouldered by the dance crew

2. The routine must be a total of three minutes and thirty seconds (3:30 mins) to a maximum of four minutes (4:00 mins)

3. Pre-performance display is permissible up to 20 seconds allowing the group to acknowledge the audience and to get into the opening pose  

4. Must include a 20–30 second section featuring two 8-counts from the original Royal: Ito Ang Gusto Ko! music, incorporated into the team’s routine using their own choreography or interpretation.

5. Music and mix must be submitted digitally to the event’s technical director at least week  before the national event

6. Stunts must be pre-cleared with the event’s technical team for safety purposes


J. DEDUCTIONS AND DISQUALIFICATIONS

1. Music Submission

a. Late submission of music incurs a 1pt deduction per day (within 24 hours).

b. Music and mixes must be submitted at least one week before the event.

c. Teams may continue to refine their routines, provided that the final music is submitted on or before the deadline.

2. Costume

a. Any form of nudity, defined as visible underboob, sideboob, or exposure of private parts, including taped nipples worn as tops without coverage—will result in a 0.5pt deduction in the overall score.

3. Dance Performance

a. Lewd, offensive, or profane gestures will result in a 0.5pt deduction per occurrence.5pt deduction per occurrence. Examples include but are not limited to kaldag moves, excessive grinding, or sexually suggestive choreography. Sensual styles should be appropriate for general audiences.

b. Politically-motivated or sensitive dance themes are not allowed. Performances must promote a positive, inclusive environment.

c. Overtime performances will incur a 0.5pt deduction per 10 seconds exceeded.

4. Line-up

a. Teams falling under or over the allowed participant count will result in automatic disqualification

b. Team member substitutions are only allowed in cases of documented emergencies. If the reason is valid (e.g., medical emergencies), no score deduction will be applied.

5. Props & LED Effects

a. Usage of banned props or LED effects will result in automatic disqualification.

6. Stunts

a. High-risk stunts that may cause injury, such as double back tuck passes, pitched double back tucks, or three-level human pyramids/setups, are prohibited. Violation will result in a 0.5pt deduction per occurrence.

7. Liability Disclaimer

a. In the event of injury or harm due to disregard of the rules or unsafe practices, the organizers, sponsor, and their agencies shall not be held liable.


K. PRIZES  

1. There are a total of Php 3,105,000.00 net cash prizes to be won during the Contest Period as below (“Prizes”):

2. Prizes will be awarded in cash or by cheque during the event. However, if a dance crew selected to compete in the Nationals decides not to participate for any reason, their prize will be revoked and awarded to the next crew that replaces them.

3. People’s Choice Award will be calculated from the total number of votes each crew receives using the caps of the product. The crew with the highest number of votes will have the strongest popularity score.

4. The number and types of Prizes that will be awarded in this Contest will not exceed those as stated in paragraph J1. By participating in this Contest, you acknowledge and agree that in no event will more than the stated number of Prizes be awarded.

5. The Prize tax, if applicable, will be shouldered by the Promoter. Ancillary costs, including but not limited to personal and incidental expenses, insurance, government or other fees applicable are the responsibility of the Winners.


L. RIGHTS TO USE 

1. By participating in this Contest, you hereby assign and transfer to the Promoter all worldwide right, title, and interest in the entries, and all other intellectual property rights of whatever nature in such entries, including the copyright and third-party rights therein, together with the right to make any changes, adaptation, or modifications to the entries for the purposes of marketing, advertising and trade without compensation to you, in connection with this Contest. You shall do all things and execute all documents necessary or may be required by the Promoter to enforce any of the rights promised to the Promoter herein. 

2. You release and discharge the Promoter against all claims, which you or any third party may have or which may arise out of the rights granted to the Promoter in relation to this Contest. 


M. OTHER CONDITIONS: 

1. Promoter has the sole discretion to disqualify and delete any entry containing a photograph or screenshot Promoter determines to be obscene, profane, lewd, defamatory, threatening, harassing, libelous, deceptive, invasive of another’s privacy, offensive or inappropriate in any manner whatsoever. 

2. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promo and/or proceed with the promo, including the selection of winners in a manner that it deems fair and reasonable, subject to applicable rules of and approval by the FDA. 

3. Promoter has the sole discretion to disqualify and delete any entry containing a photograph or screenshot Promoter determines to be obscene, profane, lewd, defamatory, threatening, harassing, libelous, deceptive, invasive of another’s privacy, offensive or inappropriate in any manner whatsoever. 

4. If, for any reason, the contest is not capable of running as planned, Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promo and/or proceed with the promo, including the selection of winners in a manner that it deems fair and reasonable, subject to applicable rules of and approval by the FDA. 

5. All promotional materials, including details on How to Participate and Prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions with any advertising, promotional or publicity materials in relation to or in connection with the Contest, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. 

6. The Promoter’s decision on all matters relating to the Contest including awarding of Prizes is final, conclusive, and binding.

7. Personal information (including images) collected or received from you may be used by the Promoter for the purposes of administering and promoting the Contest, including but not limited to conducting background checks on your identity, verifying your eligibility to participate and receive a Prize, and publicizing winners’ announcement.  By participating in the Contest, you explicitly allow the Contest to contact you via the particulars provided for such purposes.

8. In no event will the Promoter or any of their respective Affiliates be responsible or liable for any damages or losses of any kind, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising out of your acceptance of a Prize, the use of a Prize, your entry into the Contest, or your participation in any Prize-related activity. By entering into the Contest, you hereby release and agree to hold harmless the Promoter and their respective Affiliates from and against any and all rights, demands, claims, causes of action, losses, damages, costs and expenses whatsoever that you may have, or which may arise, whether in whole or in part, and whether directly or indirectly.   

9. Notwithstanding any of the foregoing, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, add, replace, vary and/or modify these Terms and Conditions without giving prior notice. Entry into this Contest confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and any amendments, additions, replacements, variations and modifications hereto, which shall be final and binding in all respects.

10. If any term or part thereof is rendered void, illegal or unenforceable by any legislation to which it is subject, it shall be rendered void, illegal or unenforceable to that extent and it shall in no way affect or prejudice the enforceability of the remainder of such term or other terms of this Contest. 

11. Contest and the Terms and Conditions shall be construed under and governed by the laws of the Philippines. The parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts of Taguig City, Philippines.
