TERMS AND CONDITIONS GOVERNING PARTICIPATION IN THE COCA-COLA® “SCAN & WIN” PROMOTION

1. This Promotion is organised by Coca‑Cola Indian Ocean Ltd (Proprietary), located 9th Floor, Orange Tower, Ebene Cybercity, Mauritius supported by its agency Heat Group (“Promoter”).

2. This promotion is opened to permanent residents and citizens of Mauritius and Rodrigues over the age of 13 (Thirteen) years, in possession of a valid form of identification (Mauritian Identity Document or Passport), except any minor, employee, director, member, partner,  agent or consultant of the Promoter, or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter and/or immediate family members of any of the above persons, its advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca‑Cola Company, its affiliates and/or its associated companies.

3. By participating in this promotion, all participants and the winners agree to be bound by these rules/terms and conditions as interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Promoter reserves the right at any time, without notice, to amend, modify, or change these rules and any prizes, and to postpone, suspend or cancel this promotion and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoters reasonably deem necessary.

4. This promotion is only valid in Mauritius (excluding Rodrigues).  Participants must be within Mauritius (given the promotion is only applicable in Mauritius) at the time of entering the promotion, for the verification process and at the time of the prizes being awarded should they be declared a winner, failing which such person will be disqualified and the selection of a replacement entry shall take place under the same terms and conditions as the first selection.

5. The promotion commences on Saturday 21st September 2024 and ends at 23h59 (Mauritian time) on Sunday 29th September 2024 (“Promotion Period”).

6. In order to qualify for the “Scan & Win” promotion and giveaways, participants will be required to share their contact details (name, surname, date of birth, email) and consent or agree to these Terms and Conditions. Participants will also be required to agree to the Coca‑Cola Privacy policy and to receive messages on marketing promotions. Participants who are minors (between 13 to 18) will be required to confirm that they have obtained their parent or guardian authorisation to participate.

7. The promotion mechanism consists of scanning a QR code that has been provided (on the Mauritius Food Fest 2024 communication prior and during the event, on static displays and digital platform) to access the Coca‑Cola website to stand a chance to Win special Coca‑Cola branded premiums. Participant to Click on the button "Tentez de gagner un Cadeau", register themselves on the  website as indicated in section 5 and participate to the prize selection. The winners will be randomly selected on Tuesday 1st October 2024. Once the event is over, data will be pulled from Coca‑Cola website and selection will be carried out to retrieve the winner’s name and contact details. The Winner will be contacted by the Promoter’s agency either on the phone number and/or email provided in the registration form to make necessary arrangements to collect their prize at the following address:

8. The collectible prizes  consists of the following:

  • 100  T-shirts
  • 100  Caps
  • 100  Coca‑Cola 500ml PET

9. The prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or for any other item. Winners will be announced after the Promotion Period subject to the availability of the Coca‑Cola branded list of collectible prizes (T-shirts, Caps and Coca‑Cola products)

10. Participants may enter the promotion subject to the following

a. If any entry was made in a manner which in the Promoter’ s discretion provides the participant with an unfair advantage over other entrants, such a Participant will be disqualified from this promotion.

b. Participants are only eligible to stand a chance to win the list of collectible prizes under this promotion.

11. Winner

The Promoter will select up to 300 winners following a selection on Tuesday 1st October 2024 which will end at 23h59 (Mauritian time).

In order for the particular win to be confirmed as valid, the selected winner will be required to provide their proof of identification (identity card or driver’s licence or passport).Minors will be also required to share proof of parent or guardian authorisation.

Once the Promoter has verified the winner, the Promoter will advise the winner when and how they can redeem their prize.  The Promoter decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Once the winner has received the prize, the Promoter will not take responsibility for any malfunction or defect.  Ownership of and risk in and benefit attached to the prize will pass on to the winner immediately.

The winner is obligated to behave responsibly and comply with these terms and conditions and all reasonable requests of the Promoter and their agents.

12. Disqualification of Winner

If a Promoter is unable to reach a winner within 48 (forty-eight) hours from the date of the winner being notified or if a winner fails the verification process after selecting his or her entry for whatsoever reason, such person will be disqualified and a selection for a replacement entry and winner will take place.

13. Publicity

The Winners may be required by the Promoter to participate in publicity in connection with the Tidal Rave , their Prize and/or the Promoter and by registering all registrants agree that if they are selected, they will, participate in and cooperate with the Promoter in connection with any publicity activity reasonably requested by the Promoter. Registrants acknowledge and agree that copyright in any publicity materials (including but not limited to the submitted videos or other entry) in which they and/or their details appear is the property of the Promoter and that the Promoter will be entitled to exploit such publicity materials in all media throughout the world in any manner it deems fit. Additionally, the Promoter may require the winners to be identified, photographed, and published in printed media, or to appear on social media sites, when accepting their Prizes or after having received their Prizes. The Promoter may use the uploaded images in whole or in part, and any reproductions thereof, worldwide for advertising, promotion, publicity or otherwise on any website for any media purpose and for any other lawful purpose whatsoever.

14. Personal Data

All personal information of the participants will be treated in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and will be subject to The Coca‑Cola Consumer privacy notice, which will be available on the Promotion platform. The Privacy notice sets out how and why personal information is processed. The Coca‑Cola Consumer Privacy Notice is an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.

By participating in this Promotion, participants acknowledge and understand that: (a) it is mandatory for all participants to provide their personal data in order to participate in this Promotion, otherwise they will not participate in it; (b) entrants' personal information will be used for the purposes of processing their participation in this Promotion and for additional purposes as detailed in the privacy policy; (c) The Coca‑Cola Company and its affiliates (including its subsidiaries, bottlers and joint ventures) may contact participants via email, SMS, social media platforms and other platforms to send marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities, with the participant's prior consent and in accordance with applicable personal data laws; (d) Participants consent to the transfer of their personal data outside the country. Any transfer of data to countries that do not offer an adequate level of protection is subject to appropriate safeguards, in accordance with applicable law, to ensure that participants' personal information is adequately protected, including regulations.


The Promoter may require winners to complete and submit a disclosure and indemnification agreement to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions. If a winner refuses or is unable to comply with this rule for any reason, the winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prize and the Prize will revert to the Promoter.

Participants have the right to access, rectify, delete, port, oppose, limit and withdraw consent or to define guidelines regarding the use of their data under the conditions and limits provided for in the regulations. These rights can be exercised by sending a request to: privacy@coca-cola.com.

15. Unforeseen events

  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoters reserve the right to cancel this promotion (, to change the number or nature of the prize at any time (on 20 business days’ notice to you), or to change the terms and conditions at the Promoters’ discretion
