Statement – Recall of a batch of Appletiser

22 September 2021: There is currently a precautionary recall of select Appletiser sparkling apple juice products. The product has been available for sale in some Coles stores in NSW, VIC and TAS; and some Woolworths stores in VIC.
The product is:
- Appletiser Sparkling Apple Juice, packaged in 750ml glass bottles
- lot code on both the bottle and the carton: BB 01 JUN 2022 and BB 02 JUN 2022
The precautionary recall is due to quality testing revealing higher than acceptable levels of patulin. Products containing elevated levels of patulin may cause illness.
Consumers can return the product with these best before dates for a full refund at the store where it was purchased.
