A few things to know about Coca‑Cola Christmas in the Park, being held on Saturday 13 December at the Auckland Domain. 

Alcohol free event

In co-operation with the Police and Auckland Council this event is alcohol free.

Auckland City Hospital

Auckland City Hospital and Starship Hospital are both open and operating as normal during Coca‑Cola Christmas in the Park including the busy emergency departments.

If you are attending the event, please look out for ambulances and give them the right of way and help keep the entrances to the hospitals clear for patients, whanau, visitors and staff.

Hospital car parks are not available for event parking. Please keep them free for those who need them for hospital services.

Public Transport 

Catch a ferry, bus or train to Coca‑Cola Christmas in the Park. Grafton and Newmarket train stations will be busy after the event so please plan your journey in advance and allow extra time.

Parking

There will be enforced parking restrictions in place at the Domain and around the park’s perimeter. Park early to avoid unnecessary delays. Remember, the further away you park, the faster you’ll get away.

Refresh, recycle, repeat! 

Let’s keep the Domain beautiful this Christmas! Look out for the rubbish and recycling bins around Christmas in the Park and dispose of your waste in the correct bin. All our cans and bottles are recyclable, so please remember to recycle in the bins provided. You can also visit the Coca‑Cola Recycling Wall to recycle your empty bottle or can and spin for a chance to win some fantastic prizes!

Road Closures

Road closures will be in place inside the Domain from 6.00 am on the day of the event morning. All other road closures will be in place at 4.00 pm. Grafton Bridge will be closed to all vehicle traffic (except emergency vehicles, pedestrian and cycle access). For the disabled

An area in front of the stage will be set aside for people to view the concert.

There is no allocated parking available at the Domain, however there is a drop off option. If the driver of the car is mobility impaired parking will be available at the lower end of Carlton Gore Road.

Cancellation

If the weather prevents Coca‑Cola Christmas in the Park from proceeding it will be cancelled. Please listen to 92.1 MORE FM for details. There is no rain date for the event.

No ‘hawkers’, charity collectors or unauthorised sellers of goods are allowed on the Domain and surrounding streets.
