Bringing clean water to the Philippines

From remote mountain villages to bustling peri-urban communities, we are investing in sustainable water access, empowering local populations, and safeguarding our most precious resource.

Community-led water systems

At Coca‑Cola Philippines, water is central to everything we do. It is not only the core ingredient in our products, but it is also essential to the health, dignity, and economic stability of every community.

For many remote and underserved areas across the archipelago, securing daily access to clean water remains a challenge. Through our dedicated water stewardship programs, we partner with local communities, NGOs, and government agencies to build sustainable, community-led water systems. By protecting watersheds and providing reliable water access, we are helping build healthier, more resilient futures for thousands of Filipino families.

Ramp Pump Program

In partnership with The Coca‑Cola Foundation and the Alternative Indigenous Development Foundation Inc. (AIDFI), ramp pump systems have been installed in remote communities across the Philippines over many years to help improve access to water for everyday use.

Ramp pumps operate without electricity or fuel, using the natural movement of water flowing downstream. More than 150 170 systems are currently in place, supporting water access for over 119,000 71000 people across participating communities since 2011.

Agos Tubig sa Baryo: Gravity‑Fed Water Systems

Through the Coca‑Cola Agos Program, the Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement (PRRM) and The Coca‑Cola Foundation Philippines have worked with local communities to support gravity‑fed water systems in several rural areas across the Philippines.

These systems help collect and distribute water for everyday community use in parts of Aklan, Albay, Aurora, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Eastern Samar, Nueva Ecija, Nueva Vizcaya and Cavite.

WASH in Peri‑Urban Communities

Launched in 2021 2020 in partnership with Water Philippines Better with Water, formerly Water & Life Philippines, this initiative supports water, sanitation and hygiene efforts in underserved peri‑urban communities.

The programme works with high‑density, low‑income areas through measures such as household water meters, hygiene facilities and community education activities that help improve access to water and support everyday public health practices over time.

Agos for Little Red Schoolhouse

In partnership with The Coca‑Cola Foundation Philippines , and Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) the Agos for Little Red Schoolhouse programme has supported water access improvements in 54 schools across the Philippines, helping students and school personnel gain more reliable access to water for everyday use.

Alongside infrastructure support, the programme includes water education and school‑based planning activities that encourage responsible water use and help schools strengthen day‑to‑day water management practices over time.
