Terms and Conditions: Zambia Minute Maid 2026 Juice Campaign
The following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) apply to the “the Promotion" and by participating in the same you are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted the same.
1. Promoter. Coca‑Cola Beverages Zambia Ltd is the promoter of this promotional competition (“Fast life, fast meal with Minute Maid”).
2. Participant/s. A person who enters, competes in or is otherwise eligible to win Bicycles, juice decanters, stationery Vouchers, and Meal Vouchers
3. Eligibility. The Promotional Competition is only open to citizens, permanent residents, or anyone who is legally permitted to reside in the Republic of Zambia and who is 18 (eighteen) years of age or older. Any employee, director, partner, immediate family member, agent, consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls or is controlled by the Promoter and/or The Coca‑Cola Company, their advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers, customers or any subsidiary of Coca‑Cola Beverages Africa (Pty) Ltd, its affiliates and/or associated companies are disqualified from participating in the Coca‑Cola Promotional Competition (collectively, “Disqualified Person/s”). In addition, all Participants must be natural persons; no prize/s will be awarded to any legal entities.
4. Agreement to Official Rules. By entering the Promotional Competition, all participants agree to be bound by these rules (“Official Rules”), which will be interpreted and applied by the Promoter or its nominated administrator, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel the Promotional Competition and any prize/s (which has/have not yet been subject to selection), or any aspect thereof, with notice duly to be communicated to participants and the Lotteries Board of Zambia, for any reason which the Promoter deems necessary.
5.Promotional Period. The Promotion commences at 24h:00 am on 15th of April 2026 and ends at 23h59 on 30th of June 2026, both days inclusive (“Promotion Period”). All entries received after the Promotion Period will not be considered. Entries will be deemed to be received at the time of receipt and not at the time of transmission. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoters. Winners of certain prizes will be selected during the course of the Competition Period.
6. Prize/s
a. Buffalo Bicycles x 11 winners, Juice decanters x 110 winners, Stationery vouchers from Book world x 110 winners and Meal vouchers from Hungry Lion and Nandos x 110 winners.
b. The Promoter shall solely determine the specifications of the Prize/s and the Promoter’s decision shall be final in this regard.
c. The Promoter shall not be liable for any charges or loss of or to the Prize/s once handed over to the winner/s of the Promotional Competition.
d. The Promoter does not cover insurance for the Prize/s once handed over to the winner/s of the Promotional Competition.
e. Participants acknowledge that there is no guarantee that they will win a prize in this Competition.
f. The Promoters shall not award a Prize to a winner if it is unlawful to supply such Prize to the winner. In such instance, the winner shall immediately forfeit the Prize and be disqualified.
g. If the Promoter is unable to reach any Participant via mobile phone, email, social media after drawing his/her entry for whatsoever reason, such Participant will be disqualified from the Promotional Competition and the selection of a replacement entry shall take place in the same manner as the first selection once two weeks from the draw date has elapsed.
h. All winners are first subject to verification by the promoter and or its nominated administrator, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the promotion. If a participant fails the verification process for whatsoever reason, such person will be disqualified and shall not receive a prize, and a replacement draw, and winner will take place. A participant is not a winner of any prize (whether instant prizes or random draw prizes) even if such participant receives communication indicating that he and/or she is a winner or even if the participant receives email correspondence saying that he and/or she won, unless and until such participant‘s eligibility , and such participant has been verified and such participant has been notified that the verification is complete. The promoter will not accept screen shots or other evidence of winning in lieu of its validation processes.
7. How to Enter.
a. To stand a chance of winning a Prize, participants must purchase Minute Maid 500ml PET, Mango and Tropical and/or Mazoe (All Flavours- Orange, Raspberry, Cream soda) ("Participating Product/s") from any Participating Retailer (as detailed in Annexure "A") during the Promotion Period. Participating purchase combinations are: (i) 1 x Minute Maid & 1 x Mazoe; (ii) 1 x Minute Maid & any meal; or (iii) 1 Case Minute Maid & 1 Case Mazoe.
b. To enter, participants must purchase a qualifying product combination from a Participating Retailer, retain their till slip as proof of purchase, Scan the QR code or send WIN via WhatsApp to 0967394081 to enter. Stand a chance to win, and follow the on-screen prompts to register and submit a photograph of their till slip.
c. During the registration process, participants will be taken through the following steps: confirming they meet the age requirement; accepting the Promotion Terms and Conditions; providing their first name and surname; and actively confirming their consent to the processing of their personal data. Registration cannot be completed without the consent confirmation step.
d. The registration process is completed once only. Upon returning, the system will recognize the participant's profile and prompt them only to submit a new till slip photograph for each subsequent entry.
e. Upon submission of a till slip photograph, the AI-powered OCR system will perform an initial verification to confirm that a qualifying product has been purchased; that the purchase was made within the Promotion Period; that the till slip has not previously been submitted; and that the purchase was made at a Participating Retailer. Participants will be informed whether their entry has been accepted or rejected, along with the reason in the case of rejection. All submissions are thereafter subject to secondary validation checks to confirm final eligibility for inclusion in the prize draw.
f. Participants may enter as many times as they wish during the Promotion Period, provided they submit a new and valid till slip reflecting a qualifying product purchase from a Participating Retailer each time. However, participants are limited to 3 entries per day and a maximum of 50 entries over the duration of the competition.
g. A participant may only win two (2) prizes for the duration of the Promotion, regardless of the number of valid entries submitted.
h. There will be a total of 341 Winners of Bicycles, Juice Decanters, Stationery Vouchers, and Meal Vouchers to be won under this Promotion.
i. A participant's entry will be withdrawn if any Participating Product/s purchased in connection with this Promotion is/are subsequently returned.
j. Entries that are unclear, incomplete, inaccurate, erroneous, incomprehensible, or illegible, and/or are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism or are submitted by or on behalf of Disqualified Persons, will be disqualified.
k. The Promoters reserve the right to disqualify any claim if fraud or cheating is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of code or otherwise frequently falsifying data or sharing till slips to generate additional entries.
Selection.
a. The Promoter or its nominated administrator’s decision shall be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
b. The Promoter or its nominated administrator will select the names of the potential winners via random selection of consolidated entries. Winner selection of Promotion will be conducted in weekly random draws of all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The draws shall take place on the following dates: 20th of April 2026, 27th of April 2026, 4th of May 2026, 11th of May 2026, 18th of May 2026, 25th of May 2026, 1st of June 2026, 8th of June 2026, 15th of June 2026, 22nd of June 2026, 1st of July 2026.
c. Participants whose entries are drawn will be notified via SMS within 1 (one) week from the date of the random draw as to when they will receive their prize. The odds of winning a Prize will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
8. Requirements of Potential Winner/s. The Potential winner/s of the Promotion must continue to comply with the Terms and Conditions set out herein. Winning Prize/s will be contingent upon fulfilling all requirements of the Promotion. The Promoter will make every reasonable effort to contact the potential winner/s of the Promotion via mobile (SMS), and social media, however, in the event that the Promoters (whether directly or through their agencies) are unable to contact or reach a potential winner for any of the prizes in this Competition, on his or her mobile number used to enter this Competition after drawing his or her entry for whatever reason within 48 hours from the date of the first notification as set out in these Terms and Conditions or if an official winner cannot be contacted within 48 hours from the date of being declared an official winner to arrange the collection or delivery or redemption of the prize as the case may be , or if the winner forfeits the prize for any reason or if the participant is not eligible to enter into this Competition, or if a potential winner fails the verification process after drawing his or her entry for whatsoever reason or if a potential winner or an official winner fails to provide any required information within the timelines stipulated or if a winner refuses to accept a prize or refuses or fails to sign and send to the Promoters the acknowledgement of receipt of the prize, then such person will immediately forfeit their chance to win the Prize or the Prize and will be immediately disqualified from this Competition and an alternate potential winner from all remaining eligible entries (up to 3 (three) alternates will be permitted at the discretion of the Promoter or its nominated administrator ) will be drawn, at the discretion of the Promoters or its nominated administrator. If the alternate potential winner/s are disqualified for whatever reason, the applicable Prize/s will not be awarded, and the Promoters reserve their right to decide what to do with the unawarded prize at their sole and absolute discretion.
9. Publicity. The Promoter may require the prize winner/s of the Coca‑Cola competition to be identified and/or photographed and/or published in printed media and/or appear on radio and/or television, when accepting the Prize/s and/or after having received the Prize/s. The winner/s of the Promotion will be given the opportunity to decline the publication of their image/s and to participate in the Promoter’s marketing material in so far as it relates to the Competition.
10. Data Protection: To facilitate the Promotion and for marketing communications, the Promoter may process personal information relating to identified or identifiable natural persons, i.e. personal data, who participate in the Promotion. The Promoter will process this personal data in accordance with the Coca‑Cola Privacy Policy – available for review on the Coca‑Cola Company website https://datatrust.coca-cola.com/xg/en/notices/global-consumer-privacy-notice
11. By entering the promotion, you are consenting to the Promoter processing personal data. You have the right to decline to the processing of your information; however, this may impact dissemination of information in relation to the Promotion. Your rights as a data subject are further outlined in the Coca‑Cola Privacy Policy linked in this clause.
12. General conditions.
a. If the Promoter is unable to reach any Participant via mobile phone, email, social media after drawing his/her entry for whatsoever reason, such Participant will be disqualified from the Promotion and the selection of a replacement entry shall take place in the same manner as the first selection once two weeks from the draw date has elapsed.
b. The Prize/s is/are neither transferable, nor exchangeable for any other item. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize/s with any other prize/s of comparable commercial value or to vary, postpone, suspend, or cancel the Promotion and the Prize/s (which has/have not yet been subject to selection), or any aspect thereof, with the Lotteries Board of Zambia to be promptly notified of these changes as and when obligated to do so. Winners accept the Prizes on an “as is” basis and do not warrant the Prize’s merchantability or suitability for purpose. The Promoters do not manufacture sell or distribute the Prize and cannot guarantee or warrant their functionality.
c. In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Promotion is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but, not limited to, fraud, virus or other technical problem, the Promoter may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Promotion to address the impairment and then resume it in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of the Terms and Conditions; or (b) cancel the Promotion and award the Prize/s in a random draw from all eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of the Terms and Conditions or the Terms and Conditions of any other promotion, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person/s to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and should such an attempt be made, the Promoter reserves the right to seek damages from any such person/s to the fullest extent permitted by law.
d. The Promoter's failure to enforce any term of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
e. The Promoter reserves the right to carry out audits in respect of any potential winner of the Promotion to verify his/her eligibility and/or the validity of his/her entry.
13. Release and Limitation of Liability. Except where prohibited in law, Participants and/or the winner/s of the Promotion, as the case may be, hereby indemnify the Promoter, its nominated administrator, Coca‑Cola Beverages Africa (Pty) Ltd together with all its subsidiaries and The Coca‑Cola Company, as well as their directors, employees, affiliates, agents, advertising agencies, advisers, suppliers and customers against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever (including consequential and economic loss) arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in the Promotion including, but not limited to: (a) any act or omission, whether as a result of gross negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise; (b) use of the Prize/s; (c) unauthorized human intervention in the Promotion; (d) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, printers or telephone or network lines; (e) errors in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; and (f) injury or death or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from a Participant’s participation in the Promotion or receipt or misuse of the Prize/s. If, for any reason, a Participant’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, such a Participant’s sole remedy shall be another Promotion entry, if it is possible.
14. Consent: By actively confirming consent during the WhatsApp registration process (as described in clause 10(c) above), participants agree to the Promoter processing their personal data, including their cell phone number and submitted till slip image, for the purposes of administering this Promotion. Participants will also be given the option, at the time of registration, to consent to receiving future marketing communications from the Promoter. This marketing consent is optional and will not affect a participant's ability to enter the Promotion. Both consents may be revoked at any time by contacting the Promoter.
