Coca‑Cola announces new Raja Club athletic partnership to celebrate Moroccan football

Casablanca, 10 November 2025
– Coca‑Cola in Morocco, together with Equatorial Coca‑Cola Bottling Company (ECCBC), today announced a groundbreaking three-year sponsorship with one of the country’s most iconic football clubs – Raja Club Athletic (RCA). Established in 1949, the Casablanca club boasts three African championship titles (1989, 1997, 1999), 13 Moroccan league triumphs — the latest in 2024 — and nine Throne Cup victories, most recently in 2023.

With this new sponsorship, Coca‑Cola strengthens its connection with Moroccan football, placing itself at the very heart of the country’s greatest passion. Together with RCA, Coca‑Cola will give fans access to exclusive activations, unforgettable match-day experiences and match tickets, as well as opportunities to engage directly with the players.

"Football is more than just a sport in Morocco, it’s a heartbeat and a shared identity. Partnering with a team that has an extraordinary heritage, is an opportunity to offer fans the chance to enjoy incredible experiences and unique moments," said Farid Benchakroune, General Manager, ECCBC Morocco.

The partnership builds on Coca‑Cola’s long-standing association with football at a pivotal moment in the sporting calendar ahead of the African Nations Cup League hosted this year in Morocco as well as the FIFA World Cup 26™.

"We’re proud of this partnership designed to drive impact and support the game of football locally. This new journey holds the promise of historic collaboration with Morocco’s local team," said Charbel El Beyrouthy, General Manager, Coca‑Cola in Morocco.

Jawad Ziyat, President, Raja Club Athletic (RCA) said: “Partnering with a globally influential brand like Coca‑Cola is a moment of great pride for Raja Club. We share the same passion for promoting football and its power to unite people. Together, we will create moments that our fans can be proud of and memories that will last a lifetime.”

Coca‑Cola, long recognized for harnessing the power of sport to inspire people everywhere, is one of the world’s most active sports sponsors—proudly supporting global events such as the FIFA World Cup™, the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the UEFA European Championship, as well as national clubs and teams across the world.
