New Coca‑Cola® Creations Flavour Celebrates K-Pop Fandom with Limited-Edition K-Wave Flavour

Coca‑Cola® Creations launches new Coca‑Cola K-Wave Zero Sugar and Frozen Coca‑Cola K-Wave in Australia

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA (Monday, 22nd April 2024) – Today, Coca‑Cola® introduced the newest addition to the Coca‑Cola® Creations line-up to Australia, Coca‑Cola® K-Wave. Offering a refreshing limited- edition Coca‑Cola® drink infused with a burst of fruity-flavoured K-Pop magic, Coca‑Cola® K-Wave celebrates fans and their infinite devotion for K-Pop artists. The launch of the new Creation will give fans access to a suite of music-focused digital and IRL experiences featuring some of the genre’s biggest stars. Frozen Coca‑Cola K-Wave will also be available exclusively at McDonalds restaurants across Australia.

To celebrate the new limited-edition flavour, three of the hottest K-Pop groups, Stray Kids, ITZY, and NMIXX, as well as the founder of JYP Entertainment, J.Y. Park, have created unexpected experiences for devoted fans. The groups have teamed up to drop the ultimate K-Pop anthem song and music video called “Like Magic,” produced by J.Y. Park. By scanning the QR code on the can, Aussie fans have the chance to embark on the "Like Magic" Fan Music Video AI Experience, an AI-powered experience that allows fans to participate directly in the vibrant world of a K-Pop music video, sharing the screen with their idols.

Fans can make a cameo appearance in the Fan Music Video of “Like Magic” by embedding their voice, name, and face into various segments of the K-Wave anthem song and music video. Users can easily download and share their personalised music video cameo with friends on social media.

The new Coca‑Cola® K-Wave Zero Sugar flavour is available in 250ml cans from 22nd April in grocery and convenience stores across Australia. Additionally, Frozen Coca‑Cola® K-Wave will be exclusively available in McDonalds restaurants.

To give even more to the fans, Coca‑Cola is offering one lucky McDonald’s customer the chance to win two tickets to the concert in South Korea. Fans can enter by purchasing a Macca’s Medium or Large Frozen Coke K-Wave between Wednesday 24 April (00:00 AEST) and Wednesday 15 May. They simply scan the QR code on the green McDonald’s Frozen Coke K-Wave cup for a chance to win. The live event will showcase an impressive lineup of talented artists from JYP Entertainment and other K-Pop sensations including performances from Stray Kids, ITZY, and NMIXX.
