Coca‑Cola has proudly supported Planet Ark’s National Recycling Week since 2019 to help Aussies understand how to recycle and to raise awareness of container deposit schemes.
Used and empty bottles aren’t done when you are. The best way to help empty bottles have another life is to recycle them via Container Deposit Schemes (CDS).
Now available nationwide, CDS locations accept your used bottles and cans, offering 10 cents in return for each eligible container and ensuring it is recycled. You can choose to keep the 10 cents or donate it to a local charity.
The Coca‑Cola Recycling Drive is another way we’re celebrating recycling and supporting local communities.
You can nominate your community group, charity or sports club anytime between 12.01am (AEDT) on 03 November 2025 and 11.59pm (AEDT) on 30 November 2025. Each week, a new group will be awarded a $2,500 grant. Weekly Entry Periods:

You can enter between 12.01am (AEDT) on 24 November 2025 and 11.59pm (AEDT) on 07 November 2025.
Container Deposit Schemes (CDS) are recycling programs that let you return eligible bottles and cans for a 10-cent refund. They help keep valuable materials out of landfill and turn recycling into real community benefits - from fundraising for charities and sports clubs to supporting local charities. It’s easy! Complete the nomination form including a short two-part questionnaire to nominate your group for a weekly $2,500 grant.
There’s no limit to the number of times you or your community can nominate, so rally your members to give your group more opportunities to stand out!
We welcome anyone over 18 to nominate their favourite local organisation, surf club, sporting team or charity for a chance to win.
The nominated group must be registered as a not-for-profit group. For more information, check the eligibility criteria set out in the Terms and Conditions.
It’s easy to check! Just enter the group’s ABN into the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) Register.
To check if your chosen group has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, enter the ABN into the Australian Business Register DGR search tool.
Each week between 03 and 30 November 2025, our judging panel will look at how your group plans to use the grant and the impact it could have in your community. One standout entry will win the $2,500 grant each week!

No! Entries are judged on the intended use of the grant and impact the grant will make, not size.
If your group wins a weekly $2,500 grant, we’ll contact you directly by phone and email.
If your group wins the $10,000 Give it a Go Grant, we’ll get in touch with you via private message on Facebook.
Winners will also be celebrated on our Coca‑Cola Recycling Drive Winners Page so keep an eye out!
