STAND A CHANCE TO WIN AN ALL EXPENSES PAID TRIP TO THE FIFA WORLD CUP 2022™ (“COMPETITION”)

1. Promoters:
   The promoters to this Competition are Massmart Holdings Limited with its registered address at 16 Peltier Drive, Sunninghill, 2157 and its operating unit, Masstores (Pty) Ltd with registration number: 1991/006805/07), trading as (“Makro”) and Coca‑Cola Africa (PTY) Limited, with its address at Building 1, 116 Oxford Road, Houghton Estate, with registration number: 1986/003669/07, (both, the “Promoters”)
2. Who may enter:
   
   1. Entry into this Competition is open to natural persons who are at least 18 years old, in possession of a valid passport, who is a citizen or a permanent resident of South Africa and are registered on Makro’s system as a customer and valid Makro card , (“Participants”). Any minor, employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of any of the Promoters or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by any of the Promoters and/or immediate family members of any of the above persons , their advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers, service providers, its affiliates and/or associated companies (including bottling partners of any of the Promoters) are not eligible to participate in this Competition.
      Participants must be within South Africa at the time of entering the Competition, for the verification process and at the time of the Prize being awarded should they be declared a winner, failing which such person will be disqualified from the Competition.
   2. The Prize will only be awarded:
      1. to a natural person as stipulated in these rules and will not be awarded to any legal entity. Where a potential winner is a permanent resident, a valid passport and residential permit must be presented for verification purposes. Where a potential winner is a citizen, a valid passport must be presented for verification purposes;
      2. if it is not unlawful to supply the Prize to a person in terms of any legislation or public regulation and the Promoters reserve the right to require proof that it will not be unlawful to supply a prize.
3. Agreement and amendments to these terms and conditions
   1. By entering this Competition, you agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Promoters, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. You may request to be furnished with a copy of the rules at no cost by emailing such request to Xoli.Mbayimbayi@makro.co.za
   2. The Promoters reserve the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or terminate this Competition and any prize (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoters reasonably deem necessary.
      
   3. The Promoters reserve the right to extend the duration of the Competition Period in the event that the Promoters have not received the minimum number of qualifying entries for the Competition Period.
4. Competition Period
   This Competition commences on 13 June 2022 and ends at 23h59 South Africa time on 04 September 2022 (both days inclusive). Any entries received after the Competition Period will not be considered (this includes online purchases). Any entries received after close of the Makro store’s operating hours 07h00 – 18h00 will be invalid and will not be considered.
5. Prize and Prize conditions
   1. Participants stand a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to the FIFA World Cup 2022™ in Qatar, valued at R350 000 (three hundred and fifty thousand) (the, “Prize”). Participants agree and understand that there is no guarantee that they will receive a Prize. There will only be 1 (one) winner in this Competition who will receive the Prize. The Prize therefore consists of 1 (one) all-expenses paid trip to the FIFA World Cup 2022™ in Qatar. The winner may elect to travel with 1 (one) travel partner to the FIFA World Cup 2022™ in Qatar. The Prize consists of a travel package to Doha, Qatar, which is the site/venue of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ event. Package includes a round trip, economy-class air transportation for the winner and travel partner from a major airport closest to the winner’s home (determined by the Promoters in their sole and absolute discretion); 4 nights' accommodation at Promoters’ choice of hotel (double room), meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner each day (not including alcohol)).
      Travel must be round trip. Promoters will determine airline and flight itinerary in their sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these terms and conditions, and those set forth by the Promoters’ airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. The Promoters are not responsible if the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ event or any scheduled event including flights, is delayed, postponed, or cancelled for any reason, including but not limited to pandemics, epidemics, local disease outbreaks, public health emergencies, rules from any government authority, lockdown or stay at home order and quarantines and winner will not be reimbursed for tickets or travel or any other costs or expenses. Tickets handed to each winner may be subject to issuer’s standard rain-check policies and procedures and each winner must comply with these policies and procedures. By accepting the Prize, winner agrees to abide by any terms, conditions and restrictions set forth on any tickets that the winner receives. Winner understands and agrees that the Promoters have the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify and remove a winner from any activity at any time if the winner’s behavior or that of the winner’s travel partner, at any point is uncooperative, disruptive, or may or does cause damage to person, property, or the reputation of the Promoters, and in such a case, the winner will still be solely responsible for all taxes and other expenses related to the Prize. Promoters are not responsible if winner does not use any tickets. All expenses, travel, and other costs not expressly stated in the package description above are the sole responsibility of winner.
   2. The Prize shall be distributed randomly to one winner nationally. The Promoters reserve the right at any time, to amend this qualification at its sole and absolute discretion.
      
   3. The Prize is not transferable by you and may not be deferred, changed or exchanged for cash or any other item.
      
   4. The Promoters reserve the right to substitute the Prize with any other prize of comparable commercial value, should the Prize be unavailable for any reason.
      
   5. Although the Promoters have taken care to make sure that the Prize is of a good quality, they do not give any warranties about the Prize and you agree to accept the Prize “as is”. Subject to applicable law, you also indemnify the Promoters against any damage, loss, expense that anyone may suffer as a result of the Prize or this Competition, including consequential and economic loss.

2. Promoter:
   This Promotional Competition (“Promotion”) is organized by Coca‑Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited and Coca‑Cola Peninsula Beverages (Proprietary) Limited (“Promoters”). 
   
3. Eligibility:
   This Promotion is open only to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa who are 18 years old or above and in possession of a valid form of identification (valid passport or valid identity document) except any minor, employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of the Promoters, or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoters and/or immediate family members of any of the above persons, its advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca‑Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies.
   The Promotion is only valid within South Africa.
4. Agreement to Terms and Conditions:
   By participating in the Promotion, participants fully and unconditionally agree to and accept these terms and conditions and the decisions of the Promoters, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. The Promoters reserve the right at any time, without notice, to amend, modify, or change these terms and conditions and the Prize, and to postpone, suspend or cancel this Promotion and any Prize, or any aspect thereof, for any reason which the Promoters reasonably deem necessary.
5. Promotion Period:
   The Promotion commences on 1 July 2022 South African Time and ends at 23h59 South Africa Time on 31 August 2022 (the "Promotion Period").
6. How to Enter:
   To stand a chance to win a Prize (as described in paragraph 6 below), participants must:
   • Buy any participating products in 1.5L returnable bottles (see below Annexure A for a list of participating products) from a participating outlet during the Promotion Period. Participating stores are stores that have the participating packs with valid 10-digit codes; stores that do not have the participating packs with valid 10-digit codes are not participating stores; and
   • Find the 10-digit code under the product’s bottle cap; and
     
   • Dial *120*462# where the participant will be required to provide their first name, surname, opt in to the Promotion and the 10-digit unique code to enter into the draw. USSD is charged at R0,20 for 20 seconds – data charges may apply. USSD is sessions time out after 30 seconds of no activity. 
     
7. The Prize:
   The Prize consists of 1 (one) all-expenses paid trip to the FIFA World Cup 2022™ in Qatar. There will only be 1 (one) winner in this Competition, who will receive a Prize, i.e., an all-expenses paid trip to the FIFA World Cup 2022™ in Qatar for the winner only. The Prize consists of a travel package to Doha, Qatar, which is the site/venue of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ event.
   
   Promoters will determine airline and flight itinerary in their sole discretion.  No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. 8. Winner selection and verification:
   A random draw will be conducted by an independent panel of judges on 1 September 2022, where a total of 1 (one) potential winner will be drawn from all eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified on 2 September 2022 via a phone call using the number that the potential winner used to enter into the Promotion, and will be subject to a verification process where they will be required to provide proof of address, certified copies (not less than 3 months) of valid passport with at least 3 unused pages, certified copies (not less than 3 months) of valid identity document and complete a verification document subject to the timelines that will be provided by the Promoters or the Promoters’ agencies. If verification is successful, the potential winner will be declared an official winner and a confirmation email will be sent. In addition, the winner will be required to sign and return to the Promoters, within five (5) days of the date notice is sent, an acknowledgement of prize and indemnity form ("Declaration") to claim their Prize and to fulfil any such other requirements as determined by the Promoters. If a potential winner fails the verification process for whatsoever reason, such person will be disqualified and shall not receive a Prize, and a replacement draw, and winner will take place.  The selection of the winner for the Prize is final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion.
