Some wins are measured in numbers. This one is measured in change. The Coca‑Cola System in Pakistan has been named “Rising Star – Employer of Choice” at the Gender Diversity Awards 2026, jointly hosted by the Pakistan Business Council (PBC) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). The recognition reflects measurable progress toward gender equality within the organization, and reinforces the company's commitment to building a workplace where opportunity is defined by merit, not gender.

The award draws on a joint PBC-IFC assessment tool that looks at how seriously companies take gender equality in practice, not just in policy documents, but in outcomes. It considers whether leadership is genuinely invested in the issue, whether hiring and pay are fair by design, whether the workplace itself feels safe and supportive for women, and whether there are real mentorship pathways helping women move up rather than just move in. Over four cycles, more than 70 leading Pakistani and multinational companies have taken part, turning what began as an award into a broader standard for how Pakistani workplaces are expected to perform on gender equity.

For the Coca‑Cola System, the Rising Star recognition reflects sustained investment in building a more inclusive workplace  from equitable leadership development pathways to robust work-life integration policies and structural support systems designed to help female talent grow and advance across the organization. These efforts represent a long-term commitment rather than a single initiative, reflecting the belief that inclusion, when embedded into everyday practice, translates directly into stronger teams and better business outcomes.

Through its participation in the PBC-IFC initiative, the Coca‑Cola System in Pakistan aligns itself with a broader national movement to expand economic opportunities for women. The recognition stands as both an acknowledgment of progress made and a reaffirmation of the company's responsibility to continue leading by example, building workplaces where inclusion is not just a value stated, but a standard consistently practiced.
