As a long‑standing official partner of FIFA, Coca‑Cola Pakistan celebrated the rising love of football in Pakistan at the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Kick‑Off Event, hosted by the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad in collaboration with the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF).

A key highlight of the evening was Coca‑Cola Pakistan’s recognition of the Pakistan Women’s National Football Team following their historic 8–0 victory over the Turks and Caicos Islands in the FIFA Series 2026, the biggest win in the nation’s women’s football history. As part of this recognition, Coca‑Cola presented branded football kits to the national women footballers, to support and encourage female athletes and the development of football in Pakistan. Nisha and Rameen, members of the Pakistan Women’s National Team, accepted the kits on behalf of the team.

Sami Wahid, General Manager, Coca‑Cola Pakistan & Afghanistan Region, said, “Football, like Coca‑Cola, has the power to unite people across cultures and generations. As a global FIFA partner and a brand woven into Pakistan’s culture for over seven decades, we are proud of our role in growing the game locally, from bringing the iconic FIFA Trophy to Pakistan twice to celebrating achievements that inspire millions, including our national women footballers.”

Operating in Pakistan since 1953, the Coca‑Cola system is among the country’s first and largest FMCG investors, with over USD 1 billion invested in the last few years. The System employs more than 2,100 people while supporting an indirect workforce of over 60,000 across its value chain. The event brought together government leaders, diplomats, sports stakeholders, and brand partners at the U.S. Embassy to mark the growing global excitement around the world’s biggest sporting event.
