During covid a few businesses and volunteers wanted to do something to bring our town together, so Jarvis Light Up was started, and it has continued yearly. Over 500 homes and businesses go all out for Christmas and one night is awesome fireworks and free family fun! Our town truly deserves this. We are community united while welcoming everyone from everywhere to enjoy what we have put into Christmas.

4 friends started up a light competition in 2020 as a way to bring cheer during a difficult time. Jarvis is a small town, but with big hearts! Today it is a big event with so many businesses and people who donate and give back to the community. Or sure the kindest community. Maybe even the most Holly Jolly town there is!

Jarvis Light Up 2024 provides free activities for the community on December 14 including, prizes, midway rides, food and spectacular fireworks. Preceding the finale there is house and business light decoration contests and lots of prizes to be won. Also, there are dance street parties for kids beginning December 1-14. The best part: everything is FREE due to kind generous sponsors. Good time celebrating for entire Jarvis community.
