TERMS & CONDITIONS
IMPORTANT: Please read these terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") before entering this promotion ("Promotion") provided by COCA-COLA PAPUA NEW GUINEA LTD & COCA-COLA EUROPACIFIC PARTNERS, whether directly or through the appropriate agents (together referred as the "Promoter"). By entering this Promotion, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
A. ELIGIBILITY
This Promotion is valid in Papua New Guinea only and open to everyone who meets the following requirements (“Participant”):
1. Papua New Guinea citizen;
2. Residing in the territory of Papua New Guinea;
3. Minimum of 13 years old;
4. Agrees to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy that apply to this Promotion. For Participants who are under 21 years old, by participating in this Promotion, Participants declare that they have obtained permission from their parents or legal guardians to take part in the Promotion and are subject to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy that applies to this Promotion;
5. Has a valid official identity card (National ID card); and
6. Not (a) an employees and immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings, children and each of their spouses, or other family members who live together or are economically dependent on the conflicted party or vice versa) of the Promoter, partners, distributors, agencies, companies or participating businesses associated with this Promotion and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and related companies (collectively, “Affiliates”) (b) prohibited under the laws of your country of citizenship, residency or domicile to participate in any games of chance and/or skill, or this Promotion.
B. PROMOTION PERIOD
1. This Promotion starts from 14/08/2023 and ends on 13/10/2023 (“Promotion Period”).
2. Any entry not received during the Promotion Period shall be automatically disqualified from participation. The Promoter is not liable for any lost, delayed or misdirected entry.
C. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
1. To participate in the Promotion:
Buy a minimum of 3 CANS 300ml of COCA-COLA, SPRITE, FANTA, SOLO-SCHWEPPES. Get 1 drawing coupon per transaction. Fill in the detail, submit the coupon in the entry box located nearby cashier counter at the participating shop
2. Each entry will stand a chance to win a weekly prize (“Weekly Prize”) in the respective weekly draw (“Weekly Draw”) and of the Grand Prizes in September and October.
3. Winners will be announced on the Promotion page and also via newspaper print ad & social media ad.
4. There are 8 Weekly Draws. First prize draw for Independence Party Pack : 8th September and Grand prize draw for Morobe show experience : 14th October
5. All winners will be contacted and announced on the promotion website https://www.coca-cola.com/id/id/sparkling-can-promo-png . The Weekly Draw (with the exception of the last draw) will be announced on every Wednesday starting from 23/08/2023. The last Weekly Draw will be announced on 25/10/2023.
D. PRIZES
1. The Weekly Prizes and Monthly (collectively, “Prizes” or a “Prize”) are as follows:
300 shopping vouchers with the value of PGK 150 as Weekly Prizes. 20 Independence Party Pack with the value of PGK 3,400 (consists of PGK 3,000 shopping voucher for anything EXCEPT alcohol & cigarette and PGK 400 worth of Coca‑Cola products collected in selected outlet as the shopping voucher) as the FIRST prize and 10 exclusive Morobe Show experience with the value of PGK 13,700 each (prize includes 3 days 2 nights at Lae International Hotel, return airfare, airport pick up, meals and ticket to visit the 60th Morobe show for the winner and 1x accompaniment) as the GRAND prize
2. The number and types of prizes that will be awarded in this Promotion will not exceed those as stated in paragraph D (1). By participating in this Promotion, you acknowledge and agree that in no event will more that the stated number of prizes be awarded.
3. Winners will be called and notified via phone call with all the details on how to claim and deliver the prize.
4. Claim of the Prize in respect of any entry must be claimed by presenting the claimant’s proof of identity (Identity Card) that is valid or current Winners without an ID must have a signed and stamped Statuary Declaration form as proof of Identity
5. Save where a prize or prize category comprises solely of cash, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any Prize or elements of Prizes with alternatives of equal or greater value.
6. Prizes are awarded on an ‘as-is’ basis and are not transferable, negotiable, refundable or exchangeable. Non-cash prizes cannot be taken in cash. The Promoter reserves the right not to award any prize or part thereof to any person who, for any reason whatsoever, fails to meet any stipulated requirement in order to claim a Prize.
7. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any winner subsequently found to be disqualified, for any reason whatsoever, with an alternative winner.
8. All Prizes must be claimed within 7 days from the winners’ announcement date. Prizes not claimed within the stipulated date will be donated to an approved charity at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
9. The Promoter and/or shall not be liable for warranties, maintenance, taxes or any additional costs of the Prizes.
E. VERIFICATION:
1. Winner is responsible to present a valid ID during verification and redemption of the prize. Information given during verification must be accurate and in synch with what is written in the coupon.
2. The Promoter’s decision on all matters regarding to the Promotion including awarding of Prizes is final, conclusive and binding.
F. OTHER CONDITIONS:
1. All promotional materials, including details on How to Participate and Prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions with any advertising, promotional or publicity materials in relation to or in connection with the Promotion, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
2. Personal information (including images) collected or received from you may be used by the Promoter for the purposes of administering and promoting the Promotion, including but not limited to conducting background check on your identity, verifying your eligibility to participate and receive a Prize, and publicizing winners’ announcement. By participating in the Promotion, you explicitly allow the Promoter to contact you via the particulars provided for such purposes.
3. In no event will the Promoter or any of their respective Affiliates be responsible or liable for any damages or losses of any kind, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising out of your acceptance of a Prize, the use of a Prize, your entry into the Promotion, or your participation in any Prize-related activity. By entering into the Promotion, you hereby release and agree to hold harmless the Promoter and their respective Affiliates from and against any and all rights, demands, claims, causes of action, losses, damages, costs and expenses whatsoever that you may have, or which may arise, whether in whole or in part, and whether directly or indirectly.
4. Notwithstanding any of the foregoing, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, add, replace, vary and/or modify these Term and Conditions without giving prior notice. Entry into this Promotion confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and any amendments, additions, replacements, variations and modifications hereto, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
5. If any term or part thereof is rendered void, illegal or unenforceable by any legislation to which it is subject, it shall be rendered void, illegal or unenforceable to that extent and it shall in no way affect or prejudice the enforceability of the remainder of such term or other terms of this Promotion.
6. Promotion and the Terms and Conditions shall be construed under and governed by the laws of Papua New Guinea. The parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Papua New Guinea.
