For Ellie-Bea, gymnastics has always been about more than medals.
After discovering rhythmic gymnastics at the age of seven, Ellie-Bea found a sport that gave her confidence, independence and a place where she could truly be herself.
Her journey took her from her local gymnastics club to representing Team Special Olympics GB at the 2023 World Summer Games in Berlin, where a documentary crew followed her inspiring story.
The resulting film, Six For Gold, premiered in 2024 and has since been showcased at film festivals across the UK, helping share Ellie-Bea's journey with new audiences and demonstrating how sport can transform lives and change perceptions of intellectual disability.
As part of Coca‑Cola's partnership with Special Olympics GB, we're celebrating athletes whose achievements inspire others and help change perceptions of intellectual disability.
Through our We Can campaign, we're shining a spotlight on athletes from local clubs to the national and world stage - recognising them as the role models they are and inspiring more people to see what's possible.
Together with Special Olympics GB, we're proud to help create a future where every athlete is seen, valued and celebrated.
