This year, we're shining a spotlight on Special Olympics GB athletes who are inspiring others and redefining what's possible to achieve through sport.

As a founding partner of Special Olympics since 1968 - and Special Olympics GB founding partner since 1978 -  we're proud to support Special Olympics GB as Headline Partner of the 2026 National Summer Games, helping to celebrate athletes with intellectual disabilities and their achievements inside and outside the sporting arena.

Special Olympics GB uses the power of sport to create a world where people with intellectual disabilities are seen, valued and taken seriously. Through more than 100 community sports clubs across England, Scotland and Wales, thousands of athletes regularly train, make friends, compete and be their best.

Our We Can campaign celebrates that journey, from local clubs to national competition and, for some, the world stage. Together with Special Olympics GB, we're sharing the stories of four incredible athletes whose achievements demonstrate the power of sport to change lives.

From breaking Guinness World Records and winning international medals to overcoming injury, balancing careers and inspiring the next generation, each athlete has a remarkable story. Together, they are helping to change perceptions of intellectual disability through sport.
