Good things take heart

It all started in 1971, when Sergio and Bruno Costa arrived in London and quickly discovered that if they wanted great coffee, they’d have to make their own.

Once they had set up a small roastery in Newport Street, they began their mission to craft the finest coffee. Driven by passion and sheer love for coffee, they perfected a blend like no other - a carefully curated mixture of Arabica and Robusta beans, roasted low and slow, with heart.

Costa's signature Mocha Italia was born - a proud declaration of taste and origin which remains our Signature Blend to this day.

Crafting the brand

The brothers built the foundations, opening stores and ultimately inspired the nation to love coffee. And as the demand for coffee grew, so did the our offerings. In 2011, we reimagined what convenience coffee could be and launched Costa Express.

Now it was possible to get the same signature taste from stores to cups on the go at the touch of a few buttons.

Today

The Coca‑Cola Company acquired Costa Coffee in 2018, opening more doors than the brothers could have ever envisioned. The brand has expanded globally and found more ways for consumers to enjoy Costa Coffee's consistent quality whenever and whatever their coffee rituals are.

From our coffee pods so you can make Costa Coffee at home,  or our ready-to-drink chilled coffee cans that are perfect when you're on the go, we've got the key ingredients to elevate coffee experiences and share our passion across the world.

Because like Serigo and Bruno's ongoing persistence all those years ago, when you've got a good thing, you keep going.
