America 250 mural by Jordan Dean in Sturgis featuring a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a glass Coca-Cola bottle.

Sundowns in Sturgis

Sturgis, SD

This mural had to feel right for the residents who call this legendary town home while making well over half a million bikers every year proud as they pass by. It features a fiery sunset over the Black Hills lighting up downtown and the iconic heritage of Harley- Davidson and Coca‑Cola joining together to celebrate America's 250th anniversary. Painted on the Rally Point Stage at the corner of Harley-Davidson Way and Main Street, it served as the backdrop for the Mayor to kick off the 2026 rally. A true thrill to work on as the roar of motorcycle engines provided the background track.

The Artist

Jordan Dean

Since crayons, Jordan has been making pictures. Drawing and painting led to a career as a designer and Creative Director in Cheyenne, Wyoming—where he would look to fuse art and design. 10 years ago, he made the leap from a household painting to a 60'x80' wall and has been growing as a mural artist ever since. From water tanks to murals the length of football fields, he continues to explore large scale public art and can't help but get excited about the possibilities.
